70% of parents dropped off during onboarding. From interviews, quick surveys, and journey mapping, we learned parents wanted to explore first. We redesigned the flow by removing sensitive questions, shortening the form, and making key fields optional. We also added smart filters on the search page so parents could browse first and refine results.
Result: onboarding completion improved from 30% to 50% after simplifying the form and adding smart filters.
